The Royal is a surface mounted sturdy cast iron construction dimensions 564 mm x 315 mm with a 235 mm x 50 mm letter opening ideal for padded envelopes and C4 mail, lockable front door with secure lock and two keys to retrieve mail, a hooded letter opening for extra protection from the rain and theft. Lumley Designs offer a range of colour’s also names, wording, numbers and logos that can be added as permanent casts, if you require this service we custom make to order. The Letter box surface mounted Royal can also be mounted to a ground post Lumley Designs supply at an extra cost. Alternatively, The Royal is also available as a wall mounted letter plate without the back box. Lumley Designs is a small friendly family run business who emphasis on designing and manufacturing quality cast iron products to our customers. The company supply a wide range of traditional handcrafted cast iron letterboxes designed and made by from the very first process to the final finished product by skilled product-maker and craftsman Robin Lumley. Machining, assembly and painting of all cast iron letter boxes are completed at our workshop,  primed and spray top coated using durable top quality metal paint, we believe this be a more superior finish and easy to maintain. Powder coated finishes loss intricate sharp details and in time can perish and fade making restoration a time consuming task. All intricate raised art work, wording and motifs are completed by hand to create detailed authenticity.
