Lumley designs have made and supplied a wide range of bespoke Business plaques and signs around the world.The business plaque can include business logo’s and motif’s used to promote the company, wording can be illustrated in different styles of fonts and languages designed immensely for you. My main skill is woodcarving which progressed to pattern making two of the main skills needed to design and produce the plaques I supply to my customers, as well as a good eye for detail and inventiveness. Each plaque is individually made to the customer requirements using the traditional manner eg: each letter is cut and placed by hand and the decorative design and motifs if required are hand carved and painted. These plaques are just a small portion of the pattern work I have supplied to councils and businesses across the country some being of larger scale for example the architectural pattern for the railings at Plymouth Navel dock was made by myself Robin Lumley.
