Bring the heritage of Britain’s railways to your home, business, station café or collector’s display with a handcrafted railway sign from Lumley Designs.

Time-served pattern-maker Robin Lumley recreated this distinctive cast iron railway sign to capture the timeless character of traditional British railway signage. Inspired by signs once seen across the UK’s historic rail network, it combines authenticity with lasting craftsmanship.

We cast every railway sign in solid iron and produce it in the unmistakable style of classic British railway signage. Each sign combines traditional craftsmanship with personalised detailing, creating a unique feature that celebrates Britain’s rich railway heritage.

Whether you are restoring a vintage railway setting, creating an industrial-inspired interior, or searching for a personalised railway sign, this striking piece adds character, nostalgia and lasting quality.
